  • Former All Blacks coach Wayne Smith CNZM graduated in 1979 and went on to play 35 games for New Zealand before moving into management and coaching.

  • Dr Andrew Smith is the CEO of Prolife Foods and was a founding sponsor of the Community and Enterprise Leadership Foundation.

  • Brian Sweeney graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in politics in 1980 and went on to co-found international strategy and PR firm SweeneyVesty.

  • Vittoria Shortt is the CEO of ASB, charged with leading the bank into the future against a backdrop of rapidly evolving technologies and ever-increasing customer expectations.

  • Peter Allen (front right) became the University of Waikato's first graduate in 1967.
