Graduate Destination Survey

At the University of Waikato, we follow the progress of our alumni with great interest and pride.  As a recent graduate of the University, we would like to know what you gained from your studies, what you are doing now and how your studies are contributing to your career.

What is the survey all about?

The Graduate Destination Survey (GDS) results will help us develop future student offerings and inform how relevant Waikato qualifications are to the current work force and employee marketplace. Your survey responses will help us assess the impact of your experience and qualification(s) on your employment and career prospects.

In the survey, you will be asked questions about areas such as:

  • employment, internships, and practicum during your studies.
  • transition into employment after study.
  • current employment status.
  • qualification and student experience satisfaction.
  • further study intentions.

This survey will run until Friday 26 February 2021 and takes between 5-10 minutes to complete.

What's in it for you?

To say thanks for your time and contribution to the GDS, we're giving away five $100 restaurant vouchers for a restaurant of your choice. A link will be provided at the end of the survey to enter the draw and winners will be advised by email in early March 2021. Click here to read the terms and conditions.

Who is surveyed?

We will be inviting alumni who have graduated with a qualification from 1 July 2017 and 31 December 2019.

Haven't received your email survey invite yet? Contact our Alumni team to have your invite re-sent. Email with your full name, date of birth and qualification.

Remember to keep your contact details with the University up to date after graduation and look out for your email invitation in the middle of next year.
